A bibliography or reference list is a complete list of all the books, articles, and other information sources you have used to help you write your essay or assignment. It should be arranged alphabetically by the author's surname.

TAFE NSW mostly follows the Harvard referencing system, but we advise you to check with your teacher.

For help in compiling a reference list or bibliography, please refer to our Research Help Library Guide/Referencing and In-Text Citations tab or ask your Librarian.
If you’re a Tertiary Preparation Certificate student, you should use the TPC Referencing Style Manual.
If you’re a TAFE NSW Higher Education student, you should use the guide available to you via the Higher Education Moodle.

For more help, ask your teacher or contact a Librarian, or visit the Library's Referencing and Bibliographies webpage, where there are more guides to choose from.
