Wikipedia can be a good source for general information about a topic, but it is not a reliable source of information because anyone can add content to any page.

Generally teachers do not want you to use Wikipedia articles to complete your assignments.

At the end of each Wikipedia article you will find links to other material on the internet related to that subject. These often include official websites.  Follow these links because you might find the information they contain is very useful, and lead you to more information to use for your assignment.

Always remember to evaluate the information you find on the internet - watch our evaluate resources tutorial for more information.
